Circadian rhythms, which govern our physical, emotional, and cognitive functions, operate on a 24-hour cycle, aligning us with our external environment. Disruption of these rhythms can lead to a range of health issues, including sleep disorders, diabetes, cognitive decline, and mood disorders such as depression and dementia. MyRhythmWatch offers users the ability to assess and monitor their circadian rhythms, facilitating a deeper understanding that is crucial for optimizing health.

To utilize MyRhythmWatch effectively, users are required to wear an Apple Watch continuously for a minimum of three days and nights, ensuring that it is not removed during sleep. Brief removals are permitted for practical reasons, such as charging the device during bathing or when engaging in inactive periods.

The application relies on internet and Bluetooth connectivity to synchronize data. Once adequate data has been collected over three days, users can access their MyRhythmWatch scores. Research indicates that weak or unstable circadian rhythms are linked to various health concerns; therefore, addressing these irregularities may lead to improved wellbeing.

MyRhythmWatch provides insights into your circadian rhythms and integrates with HealthKit functionality within its user interface.
